Artist Profile — Alana Gunn
Alana Gunn is an emerging abstract expressionist artist and creative based in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Australia. As a self taught artist, her practice has evolved from her many years of working within the world of graphic and textile design, inspired by her father’s career as a plasterer.
The artist layers mediums of clay plaster, earth pigments, sand and acrylics to create an earthy, textural surface.
Most recently, Alana’s works have been acquired for corporate projects and collections in Queensland.
