‘Sea Call’ is a body of work that explores an imagined weekend with the artist’s late grandfather on his yacht — ‘The Sea Call’.

Having been lost at sea in the late 1960s, before the artist was born, each oil pastel artwork captures imagined moments between the pair. Light lunches of freshly-caught fish are cobbled together in the cabin, apéritifs are sipped on deck, stories are swapped and the light — skipping across the water’s surface — is watched…
